The following paragraph, unaltered in any way, was our position for several years, with a good relationship which came to an end. Since we have experienced a 50% breakage rate on shipments made since October of 2001, we have been forced, for now at least, to change our position. I have ready access to FedEx and the USPS. These conditions will remain until UPS upper management at the corporate offices in Atlanta, GA decides to respond to our problems and provide a workable solution. For the record, we are still waiting (Sept 2, 2002) for insurance payment on a shipment which was broken in transit in October of 2001, and our last UPS shipment (a replacement at our cost) had the packaging in poor condition upon arrival. We will ship UPS, but no longer will offer replacement of products shipped if you require UPS vice one of the other options. FedEx Ground is our preferred shipment method
We use United Parcel Service as our shipper of choice. As always time and money are one and the same. If you check at the United Parcel Service Site( click here) you will be able to calculate the rough cost of shipping. Our Zip code is 48117 for the origin, and we use our own packaging, customer service counter & 3 pounds. This should allow you to make a good guess of shipping costs and timeframes. We can use other shippers at your request. Shipping and handling charges are what it costs us to ship your package, we do not charge additional fees for packaging.
We currently only accept checks or money orders. We ship after having received payment.
We collect 6% state sales tax on all orders shipped to Michigan addresses.
