Gargoyles!

Welcome to our gargoyle page.  Gargoyles are one of the most misunderstood creations from medieval Europe.  While the original gargoyle was a beast of evil, it was killed by a priest in France and changed into downspouts on the church.  These first gargoyles are very much like a serpent.  The classic for arrived over the next few years as the use of gargoyles as building protectors grew in leaps and bounds.
